Late Night for the Planet
Late Night for the Planet is a late night talk and game show held at Olive Ridley's Taphouse and Grill in Plattsburgh, New York. Modeled after National Public Radio's 'Wait, Wait! Don't Tell Me!', it is an experiment in environmental media and live performance for community building.

Each episode features guest interviews and audience participation games.
The project has gained significant media attention in the Adirondacks and Lake Champlain Basin. It is funded by the Lake Champlain Basin Program. The project launched in 2019 and we have now hosted 45 shows.
Floodlines: Flood Resilience in a Transboundary Watershed

Floodlines: Flood Resilience in a Transboundary Waterway is a simulation designed to facilitate competencies in specific skills related to conflict management in transboundary waterways.

Floodlines is a role play game in which participants take on the roles of professionals engaged in managing a watershed that crosses international, state and provincial boundaries. The simulation explores the hydrodynamics of the watershed; different causes and impacts of climate-related floods; and the social and policy dynamics that complicate finding resilience during climate events.

Floodlines is sponsored by a grant from the Lake Champlain Basin program and has been played by numerous water resource agencies and community groups throughout the Lake Champlain Basin and beyond.
Sustainability Quests on Questo

Questo is a open source app for building city games and scavenger hunts. Like escape games, but outdoors where the city is the playing board and the only boundaries are your imagination.

The app provides an interesting platform for engaging the public, students and planners in thinking about urban form and function.

Cannery Row Mystery (located in Monterey, California) and Sabotage! (located in Stockholm, Sweden) offer unique, gamified perspectives on urban history and sustainable development.
